BabyTock — a smart age-tracking display for families.

The idea

A daily memento of how fast kids grow — a display that quietly marks each child's age in years and months, so the milestone is always visible without anyone having to remember it.

The solution

A slim, wall-friendly display that shows each child's age, auto-rotates between family members, and dims at night. Built on a Waveshare ESP32-S3 touchscreen with a custom 3D-printed enclosure.

The build

Custom firmware on the ESP32, a slim 3-4 millimeter border enclosure, and a dimmable backlight — designed and prototyped end to end.

The result

From concept to physical device in weeks, at roughly one hundred dollars in parts.
